Return
2005
Return is a site (non) specific installation. The piece is intended to inspire a return to nature and can be easily installed in a variety of settings. It stands at eleven feet built to stand above the height of people suggesting a return to childhood. It is meant cause a delightful interruption to one’s daily on goings. It is inspired by Lawrence Argent’s Virere located in a median welcoming folks to Englewood. I always found this work visually spectacular and majestic, but felt people should have the opportunity to be amongst the grass reeds.
