Hold Me

Hold Me

2012

Hold Me falls into a series of works where I bring into question the human substitute. This work takes the intended use of the punching bag and instead invites an opposing gesture - a hug. The further thought lies in the idea of training oneself or others to practice loving gestures rather than defensive or offensive interaction. The work attempts to challenge the accepted substitute and invites people to consider the actions in relation to a real human being.
