This series of works converts glove boxes into solar-powered musical gardens. The playful notion also takes advantage of converting a storage space into a productive space for plants to live. Satirically, the work addresses our current consumption of environmentalism. It gives permission to the consumer to continue living luxuriously with the self-satisfying thought of “being green”. Upon engagement, viewers are exposed to both the garden facade and a solar powered musical component. Each gardenscape is themed using digital audio, visual props, and specific plant species to make commentary regionally. Each featured in juxtaposition to the automobile.
